This Refund Policy explains how returns and refunds work at Mimo Sewing Club for fabrics, physical products and digital sewing patterns. It should be read together with the Shipping & Returns page and the Terms & Conditions.

Returns for physical products

Because fabrics are cut to order especially for you, I cannot accept change‑of‑mind returns on fabric once it has been cut. Please check your measurements and pattern requirements carefully before ordering, or contact me for advice if you’re unsure. Other physical items (such as notions or labels) may be eligible for return if they are unused, in their original condition and packaging, and you contact me within 14 days of receiving your order.

To request a return for an eligible physical product, email hello@mimosewing.club or use the contact form with your order number, the items you’d like to return and the reason. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Once your return has been approved, you will receive a prepaid return shipping label by email at no additional cost, together with instructions on how and where to send your parcel.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact me as soon as possible if an item is faulty, damaged or if you received the wrong product, so I can evaluate the issue and make it right. In cases of damage, defect or wrong item, I will offer a replacement or refund as appropriate. Clear photos of the problem and your order number help me resolve things faster.

Digital sewing patterns and downloads

Sewing patterns and other digital downloads are delivered instantly by email and through your account, so they cannot be returned or refunded once the order has been completed. By purchasing a digital pattern, you agree to waive your right of withdrawal once digital content delivery (the download) has begun, in line with EU consumer law. If you have trouble accessing your files or notice a technical issue, please contact me and I’ll do my best to help.

Sale items, gift cards and custom orders

Sale items, gift cards and custom or personalised products cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or faulty. If you have a question about a specific item, email hello@mimosewing.club or use the contact form before purchasing so we can check together what is possible.

European Union cooling‑off period

If your order is being shipped within the European Union and contains eligible physical goods (not cut‑to‑order fabric, customised items, sale items or digital products), you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. The items must be in the same condition you received them, unworn or unused, with tags and in their original packaging, and you will need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact me first to register your return before sending anything back.

Refunds

Once I receive and inspect your returned items, I’ll email you to let you know whether your refund has been approved. If approved, I’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need additional time to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since I approved your refund and you still haven’t received it, please contact me at hello@mimosewing.club or use the contact form.
