FAQ

What projects are we making?

Every session is a different standalone project: fun & functional makes like tote bags, pouches, accessories, and more. The lineup changes regularly and with the season, so there's always something new to sew.

When and where are the workshops taking place?

All workshops take place at the Mimo Sewing Club studio in Rotterdam: Vijverhofstraat 47, unit 304. The exact dates and timetable will be shared with waitlist members first.

Can I join more than one session?

Absolutely! Just know that every workshop kicks off with a quick intro for total beginners, so if you've already joined a session before, that part will feel a bit repetitive. The upside: more time to work on your sewing and browse the shop (or eat a lot of snacks!!!).

Can I bring friends? Do we all get a discount?

Yes, and yes! Group tickets will be available at a special discounted price when booking opens. Another good reason to get on the waitlist early so you can coordinate together and guarantee your spots.

Is this a sewing class?

Not quite. Our workshops are hands-on making sessions, not theory classes. You won't be doing deep dives into technique or sewing machine mechanics. You'll be actually sewing, from the very first stitch to a finished project you take home. If you're looking for more in-depth knowledge and structured learning, our sewing course might be a better fit. Course starting July 2025, more info coming soon.
