Shipping & Returns
Shipping & returns at Mimo Sewing Club are kept as simple and transparent as possible, whether you’re ordering sewing patterns, fabrics or DIY kits from Rotterdam to the rest of Europe. This page explains how shipping works, when you can expect your order and what to do if something isn’t quite right.
Shipping
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days from my Rotterdam studio. Most orders within the Netherlands arrive in 1–3 working days, and EU orders typically arrive in 3–7 working days, depending on the carrier and your location. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and another when it ships, including tracking details where available.
I offer free tracked shipping on EU fabric orders over €100. Whenever possible, I combine items into a single parcel to keep packaging and costs low.
Please double‑check your shipping address at checkout, as I can’t take responsibility for lost parcels due to incorrect addresses. If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated time, send an email or use the contact form with your order number so I can look into it for you.
Returns & refunds
Because fabric is cut to order especially for you, I can’t accept change‑of‑mind returns on fabric once it has been cut. Please double‑check your measurements and pattern requirements before you place your order, or email me for advice if you’re not sure. This helps reduce waste and keeps the shop sustainable for everyone.
Of course, if an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, I will always replace it or offer a refund. Just contact me within 14 days of receiving your order, including your order number and clear photos of the issue, and I’ll work with you on a solution as quickly as possible. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method once we’ve agreed on the next steps.
Digital patterns & Downloads
Digital PDF sewing patterns are instant downloads; no physical product will be shipped.
After your payment is completed, you’ll receive an email within a few minutes with your download link, and you can also access your files via your account. Because there is no physical shipping for digital‑only orders, no shipping fees are charged on orders that contain only PDF patterns or other digital products.
Sewing patterns and other digital downloads are delivered instantly by email and through your account, so they can’t be returned or refunded once the order has been completed.
