Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy explains how Mimo Sewing Club handles shipping for physical products (like fabrics, notions and kits) and digital products (like PDF sewing patterns). It should be read together with the Shipping & Returns page, Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. Shipping for physical products
All physical orders are shipped from my studio location in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days after payment is received. Most orders within the Netherlands arrive in 1–3 working days, and EU orders typically arrive in 3–7 working days, depending on the carrier and your location. You’ll receive an order confirmation email and another email when your parcel has been shipped, including tracking details where available.
I currently ship to the Netherlands and most countries in the European Union. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact me and I’ll let you know if shipping is possible. Any customs duties or import taxes charged by your country are the responsibility of the customer. Whenever possible, duties and import taxes will be calculated and charged at checkout.
2. Shipping costs & free shipping
Shipping costs for physical products are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and the destination, so you only pay what is needed to ship your parcel safely. Whenever possible, I combine everything into a single parcel to keep packaging and costs low.
I offer free tracked shipping on EU orders over €100. Orders below this threshold are charged at the standard rates shown at checkout. Digital‑only orders (PDF patterns and other downloads) have no shipping fees because they do not require physical delivery.
3. Digital delivery (PDF sewing patterns)
Digital PDF sewing patterns are instant downloads; no physical product will be shipped. After your payment is completed, you’ll receive an email within a few minutes with your download link, and you can also access your files via your account. Because there is no physical shipping for digital‑only orders, no shipping fees are charged on orders that contain only PDF patterns or other digital products.
Sewing patterns and other digital downloads are delivered instantly by email and through your account, so they cannot be returned or refunded once order processing has completed. Please make sure to read the terms and conditions for sewing patterns before purchasing, and for more detailed information you can also check the FAQ or use the contact form.
4. Addresses, lost parcels & delivery issues
Please double‑check your shipping address at checkout. Mimo Sewing Club is not responsible for delayed or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided at the time of ordering. If a parcel is returned to me due to an incorrect address or an unclaimed delivery, I can resend it after payment of the additional shipping costs.
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time shown above, please first check the tracking link in your shipping email. If you still have concerns, contact me with your order number so I can investigate with the carrier. If a parcel is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will work together on a suitable solution, such as a replacement where stock allows or a refund.
5. Changes to this policy
This Shipping Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when shipping rates or destinations change. The most current version will always be available on this page. By placing an order, you agree to the shipping terms that apply on the date of your purchase.
