Ready to start sewing but not sure where to begin?

The Beginner Sewing Course (Level 1) is a 3-week course designed for complete beginners who want to build a strong foundation in sewing and gain the confidence to start making their own clothes.

Over three hands-on lessons, you'll learn the essential techniques every sewist needs while completing three carefully chosen foundation projects, including two wearable garments.

By the end of the course, you'll understand how to use a sewing machine confidently, work with fabrics, follow sewing patterns, and even create a simple garment from your own measurements.

During this course, you'll learn how to:

Learn sewing machine basics, zipper insertion, fabric cutting, and your first seam finish while creating a practical everyday accessory.

👖 Boxer Shorts
Sew your first garment using a sewing pattern. Learn how to take measurements, cut fabric on grain, finish seams, and construct a wearable piece from start to finish.

👚 Trapeze Cami Top
Sew a breezy summer top while bringing together everything you've learned throughout the course. You'll learn how to sew straps and finish your garment with neat hems.
